“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Have you ever had to go someplace and didn’t know how to get there? You would never just get in a car or enter a plane or other form of transportation without first getting the directions. You may ask someone for directions or look at a map or a GPS to help you start your journey. But the bottom line is you need directions.

Heaven is a place where one needs direction to get to. It’s not found on a map or in any GPS. Other places you’ve been before, have several ways to get there. Most faraway places are very costly.

Heaven’s way is only One Way.  In the Bible, there are many verses that can lead you to the Only Way.  Let’s look at the Romans Road Way.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  (Romans 5:8)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”  (Romans 10:9)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

And just one more from 1 John:

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”  (1John 5:13)

God promises His children Heaven. He didn’t leave it to His children to figure out the way. He gave a ‘road map’ for the journey, the Bible. Need directions?
