Are You Saved?

Are you 100% sure that, if you died today, you would go to Heaven? Or, do you have doubts about it?
God wants you to spend eternity with Him, but there is a problem…

The fact is–everyone has sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
It is our nature and our choice to sin. We come short of God’s perfection. This is a serious situation to be in, because…

Our loving God is holy and just, so He must punish sin.
“For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)
Wages are what we get for what we have done. We earn death as a consequence of our sin. The death we face is not only physical; it is also spiritual death–being separated from God forever in hell.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving… and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8) We all deserve to go to hell as punishment for our sins. This is bad news; but the good news is…

God loves you so much, He gave His Son to die on the cross for you.
(John 3:16:) “For God so loved the world (that’s you), that he gave his only begotten Son (that’s Jesus), that whosoever believeth in him (that’s anybody), should not perish (be condemned to hell), but have everlasting life (in heaven forever).” Jesus was crucified for your sins. He shed his perfect blood, and then rose from the dead three days later!

“…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 says, eternal life is a free gift. A gift cannot be earned; it can only be received. Likewise, you cannot earn the gift of eternal life by being baptized, being a church member, or by doing good works.
You could never be good enough to earn your way to heaven. The Bible says, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…”(Titus 3:5).

Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
He said, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

In his love and mercy, God offers you forgiveness and eternal life.
It is your choice to accept or reject God’s offer. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”(Romans 10:13)

“For whosoever… – everyone without Christ – including you.
…shall call upon the name of the Lord – calling upon the Lord means believing in your heart, praying and asking Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour.…shall be saved.” – not may be saved, but definitely will be saved!

Today, if you are sorry for being a sinner, please repent and turn to Jesus for forgiveness. Jesus wants to save you right now. Pray from your heart, believing God’s Word is true. Freely accept God’s forgiveness and His gift of eternal life.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin. Please forgive me. I believe the Lord Jesus died on the cross for me. Right now, I trust Jesus 100% to be my Saviour and to take me to heaven when I die. I now accept your free gift of eternal life. Thank you for loving me and forgiving me. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
